Jefferson Davis - Runaway Slave Parody
This is a parody of a runaway slave ad published in a black newspaper in New Orleans. Jefferson Davis had recently escaped capture and was on the run from Union forces. These "advertisements" are for his return. He was ultimately captured on May 10, 1865.
