I never met her, her husband, parents or descendants \u2013 but when I read her obituary I knew she was my cousin.<\/p>\n<p>How?<\/p>\n<p>The family included the genealogical information that she was a descendant of Mayflower passenger <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Bradford_(Plymouth_Colony_governor)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Governor William Bradford<\/a> \u2013 and he is my ancestor.
