History of the Richmond Times Dispatch Newspaper

It wasn’t until 1903 that the Richmond Times-Dispatch was first published. This newspaper was the result of several competing papers that were either acquired or combined in the Richmond area. The publications that formed the newly established Richmond Times-Dispatch included the Daily Dispatch, Richmond Daily Times, as well as the Daily Times. Eventually, the Richmond Times Dispatch became the sole local morning paper that covered both national and international current events.
