- Acquisition of property. I don't know how many properties they may have owned, but as a contractor, our 2x step-great grandfather appeared to be quite successful, both buying & selling various parcels, according to the number of such items mentioned in the papers. Most of his projects were in Philly, where he resided while on the job, & may have had a home there as well.

- Lulu, I believe, is the youngest member of the family & is the half-sister of our Grt. Grandmom, Mary E. (Currier) Skinner Pyle. Hope she's doing better ... sincerely.

- Grandma Addie, daughter of John Fielding Knight & Margaret Denison/Dennison. Married 1st, Matthew Currier, by whom she gave us our Grt. Grandmom, Mary Etoile (Currier) Skinner (Mrs. Walter Scott) Pyle. After Granddad Matthew (died 1865), she married Lewis D. Pusey, a carpenter, born in Chester County, Penna., abt. 1867, & lived their lives together in Maryland, preceding her in death, a couple years earlier.
