Included in die live telecast* will be scenes showing astronaut activities, decking procedures, views of the earth going to and from die moon, views of the sun. KDTV, CHANNEL M, will be back on the air Monday follow ing a forced hiatus when its Ce dar Hill Tower was levelled by temidolike winds during t he storms of last week. "Construction of a new 1,(06- foot tower to replace the one de stroyed will begin immediete- ly," explained Sheldon Turner, general manager of Channel 39. The station will resume its telecasts Monday using a tempo rary tower. THE GUESTS BEING lined up for the premiere week oi 'Tht Dick Cavett Shew" on ABC-TV, include big namea. Beginning Monday, May 30, the first week's lineup includes such people as Truman Capote, Candice Btrgen, lames Coburn, Lira Minelli, lot Nimith, Jena Fonda, Tom Jones, Dick Benja min and Paula Prentiaa. Another new summer offering for the network is "Ilia John Davidson Show," which will pre- miere Friday, May 30. The ac cent wit! be on young perform ers and young sounds. In addition to Dnvidaon, regu lars on the program will be French singer Mireille Mathlau, impressionist Rich Little and a new face, comedienne Aim! MacDonald. Among the guests planned are "Mama" Cats Elliot, Bobby Morae, Ruth Buui and Phyllis DiUtr. ABC HAS ALSO announced that it hes signed Robert Goulet to surinhisownentertninment epeciol for the network. According to a network execu tive the Goulet special will be produced later in the year for airing during the 1960-70eeason. It will not be the first time the singer-actor has been seen on ABC. He was in the series, "Blue Light,” and later ap peared in the ABC production of the Broadway musicals "Briga- doon," "Caroueel" and “Klaa Me, Kite.” In “Kate" he co- starred with his wife, Carol Law rence, currently appearing in the Venetian Room of the Fsir- mont Hotel.
